our
sailboat, "Azor", is a Nonsuch 36

Azor's original sail (1984) served us well until last season when some rips occured. Had those repaired by this cool old salt from nearby Padanarum. We pondered for some months -- should we invest in a new sail or keep repairing the old one? Tom went to work on research and came up with a curious sail loft in Phuket, Thailand that delivers custom sails worldwide to your doorstep in four weeks for less than half the price of a domestic sail. What will we do without third world countries? |
