January 2006:

Cindy's daughter, Kelly, and her husband, Joe, have this sweet but, GIANT puppy - Dutch. He's a Greater Swiss Mountain Dog, only 6 months old, and weighs 100 lbs. already!

He and Decker play together very well and it's great because they get exhausted. Dutch came to visit us recently for a "play day".
 
As you can see, however, Casey wants no part of the action.

Eric's monthly "Yappy Hour" party

Eric is the owner of American Canine of Westport where Decker's been trained, kenneled and goes to day care sometimes. This way, he gets exercise and socialization with other dogs. Eric's very cool. He planned this event for the parents of the dogs to meet their play friends. He even had snacks, beer, and wine.

We're very lucky to have American Canine of Westport just down the road from us.

Decker enjoys playdays, overnights, and attends training classes there. Eric, the owner, almost feels like a member of the family helping us raise an energetic Decker.

We attended Eric's "tricks" class and learned to play dead, roll over, wave, speak and more. It was lots of fun.
